A late Eemian aridity pulse in central Europe during the last glacial inception
Article Abstract:
The records of a maar lake in the Eifel, Germany, are evaluated for understanding the environmental changes, their rate of change during the inception and late Eemian aridity pulse (LEAP). The sudden southward shift of the position of the North Atlantic drift was caused due to the parallel decline in precipitation and temperature.

Large fluctuations in speed on GreenlandEs Jakobshavn Isbrae glacier
Article Abstract:
The study used remote sensing data to measure the velocity of Jakobshavn Isbrae, Greenland's largest outlet glaciers between 1992 and 2003. The observation indicated that fast-growing glaciers could significantly alter ice discharge at sub-decadal time-scales, with at least a potential to respond rapidly to a changing climate.

Stabilizing feedbacks in glacier-bed erosion
Article Abstract:
The athors have investigated glacier-bed erosion. They have analyzed the data of glacier morphology and glacier evolution, and have suggested that the erosive glaciers' long profiles tend towards steady-state angles, and that the subglacier deepening can be caused by non-glacier processes.
