Man is off the menu

Article Abstract:

Cannibalism is often seen in the UK as something that happened far away and a very long time ago. Little attention is given to the fact that dessicated human body parts and fluids were frequently sold in apothecary shops in the UK until the early 20th century or to the possibility that the use of injections of human pituitary extracts to promote growth in children is seen as cannibalism in other parts of the world. A practice cannot necessarily be dismissed as not being cannibalistic simply because it does not actually involve eating a human body part or drinking a human body fluid.

Air Force jettisons chimp welfare
