From Shaka to Inkatha

Article Abstract:

The Zulu nation was created by Shaka, a cheiftain, after fierce fighting. Shaka has been portrayed both as a grandfather of the Zulu nation, and as a tyrant. Shaka was king for 12 years and was then killed by his brothers The Zulus were divided in the 20th century when a cultural movement called Inkatha was set up. Inkatha was armed by security men who supported apartheid, and was involved in bloodshed in a battle against the African National Congress, which represented different ethnic groups.

Cryopreservation of porcine embryos

Article Abstract:

Early-cleavage-stage porcine embryos can withstand cryopreservation in liquid nitrogen by separating their cytoplasmic lipid droplets. Lipid-depleted embryos give rise to normal offspring. This research provides a scope for the cryopreservation of oocytes and early-stage embryos of animals and endangered species including the in vitro fertilization in humans.
