High critical current density and enhanced irreversibility field in superconducting MgB2 thin films

Article Abstract:

Research examining the usage of magnesium diboride in superconductivity is presented. Particular attention is given to the benefits and drawbacks of the superconducting material. The financial benefits are emphasized. The modest magnetic field at which superconductivity is destroyed is also emphasized.

Enhancement of the high-magnetic-filed critical current density of superconducting MgB2 by proton irradiation

Article Abstract:

Research examining the characteristics of superconductivity of magnesium diboride is presented. Particular attention is given to techniques enhancing the material's critical current density in the high magnetic field by using proton irradiation.

High critical currents in iron-clad superconducting MgB2 wires

Article Abstract:

Research examining the practical aspects of wire design for the use of magnesium diboride-based superconductivity at 39 degrees K is presented. Particular attention is given to the construction of metal-clad dense wires for superconducting magnesium diboride.
