Article Abstract:

The translation of a DNA sequence made from a combination of four kinds of nucleotides in to a protein sequence and the mechanism and machinery behind this is examined. The studies reveal that the sRNA is the link between activated amino acids and their ordered arrangement in proteins along with their companion activating enzymes framed by the adaptor hypothesis.

Complex set of RNAs found in simple green algae

Article Abstract:

The discovery of a class of RNA molecule (microRNA) in unicellular green algae has dismantled the popular theory that the regulatory role of microRNAs in gene expression is bound to the evolution of multicellularity. The presence of microRNAs in Chlamydomonas reinhardtii has shown that they might have persisted for more than a billion years.

A CaMK IV responsive RNA element mediates depolarization-induced alternative splicing of ion channels

Article Abstract:

Research is presented concerning the critical nature of calcium regulation in gene expression. The repression of slicing of the STREX exon3 through the depolarization of GH3 pituitary cells is discussed.
