'Normal' genes key to cancer growth

Article Abstract:

The non-oncogene addiction technique is employed for the identification of the common genes that are found to facilitate the growth and survival of different kinds of cancer in a human body. The method is found to be based on short hairpin RNAs that are designed for destroying such genes.

Article Abstract:

China has started a project for sequencing the whole genomes of a huge numbers of private individuals. The sequencing is expected to be of a great help to the scientists for obtaining a more accurate knowledge of human diversity.
