On being vegan

Article Abstract:

Advocates of Veganism should focus more on convincing other people to cease eating meat rather than becoming overpowered by the gravity of the plight of animals. Reaching out to everyone and adopting as much understanding for non-vegans will enable true and extensive progress for the protection of animal rights.

Vegan Visions

Article Abstract:

Vegan Visions is a non-profit organization which aims to disseminate information about and encourage vegetarianism, especially among African Americans. Particular emphasis is placed on eating food it its raw state as much as possible, with initiatives including Vegetarian Starter Parties.

Absolutely no-kill: maintaining a vegan sanctuary

Article Abstract:

Home At Last Animal Sanctuary in Salvisa, Kentucky, implements an animal feeding policy that recognizes the inconsistency of saving selected animals while condoning the slaughter of others to be used for food. So far, its wards have shown excellent health with their vegetarian diet.
