Where eagles dare: climb to the top of the Panama rain forest

Article Abstract:

A search for the nesting place of harpy eagles was conducted by a group of biologists in Chagres National Park in Panama. An occupied nest was discovered high amidst the branches of a 12-story-tall silk cotton tree. The biologists managed to capture an adult eagle and its baby, they were then able to attach a transmitter to them so that they could later follow their movements via satellite.
