The Henry Ford Museum and Greenfield Village in Dearborn, MI, has reached an agreement with a group of manufacturers to reproduce artifacts at the museum and village under the American Life Collection program. Century Furniture Industries has donated more than 50 pieces of furniture to the program.

Various historic sites in London Town, MD, are under excavation as part of the 'Lost Towns Project' of exploring and restoring historic structures in Anne Arundel County. The project seeks to find clues to daily life in the 1700s for the reconstruction of London Town to its 18th-century condition.

Gift wrapping paper originated from decorative paper which was hand-made and popularly used in the 16th century for book illustrations, endpapers, borders and autograph books. Samples of decorative paper from the 16th to 19th centuries are shown.
