The Douglas DC3
Article Abstract:
The Douglas DC3, an aircraft designed by Donald Douglas and Bailey Oswald in 1935, is still used by Virgin Airways. It is the final stage in the development of an aircraft, whose previous stages were the DC1 and DC2. The DC3 was aesthetically pleasing, unlike some other planes for which functionality was given top priority.
