The boundless perfectionism of Friso Kramer

Article Abstract:

Friso Kramer, the icon of Dutch design, whose best-known design is the classic Revolt chair produced in 1953, incorporates perfection, functionality, minimalism, sustainability and order in his industrial designs. The reissued Revolt chair did not need any fundamental changes to its original design even after 50 years, while his other designs such as the Result chair and table, the Facet series of modular tables, and street lamps were created to provide maximum comfort and utility to users.
