Investors to buy maker of circuits
Article Abstract:
Integrated Circuit Systems Inc. (ICS) announced that its board of directors has approved the sale of the company for $264 million. ICS will be acquired by a private investment group. ICS also said that it is selling $16 million worth of intellectual property and hardware to 3Com Corp. The private investment group consists of some unnamed ICS executives, and affiliates of Bear, Stearns & Co., and Bain Capital Inc.

Tax breaks for two projects advance
Article Abstract:
The City Council took key steps in June 2004 towards granting tax breaks for a new Comcast Corp. skyscraper and building a new home for the Philadelphia Regional Produce Terminal. The 60-story Comcast tower could be under construction if the tax breaks receive final Council approval, and similar legislation passes in the General Assembly in June 2004.
