Article Abstract:
James Carafano and Baker Spring, a Heritage Foundation analysts stated that Pentagon needs to receive funding at a steady rate of about four percent of the gross domestic product suggesting that the Pentagon's newly released Quadrennial Defense Review (QDR) is not sufficient. Otherwise, the Pentagon in the long run would not be able to pay for the force readiness, current operations, and recapitalization that together constitute a truly viable defense as opposed to merely a hollow force.
