Database gold mine lifts Cessna's return to the air

Article Abstract:

Cessna Aircraft Co. intends to capitalize on the resurgence of small, single-engine aircraft by constructing a new production facility specifically for such aircraft. The company plans to launch a massive marketing campaign, which will depend largely on direct marketing, to promote its new aircraft designs. Much of the consumer information that Cessna intends to use for its direct marketing campaign came from a 1994 compact disc-based survey of fixed based operators.
