Computerizing the career services office for total management
Article Abstract:
Kent State University's Career Planning and Placement Center has adopted a total-management computer system to replace its former program which was ineffective in meeting the demands of its job prospecting services for students. Important features of the system include the telephone sign-up process for scheduling interviews between students and employers and easy access to job opening referral information. The system can also accommodate new features that may be added to meet other career planning needs.
