Article Abstract:
Graduating communication majors seeking employment in a rapidly evolving job market must be familiar with the basic principles of career planning and job seeking. However, it is possible that standard career services may not be sufficient to ensure that communication majors can make the transition into the world of communication employment. Indeed, career services practitioners are likely to require specific strategies to bridge the gap between student life and communication employment. It is important to be aware that communication employers often recruit at very short notice and that they place strong emphasis on relevant work experience.
