Direct determination of the nucleation rates of protein crystals
Article Abstract:
It has been possible to develop a novel experiment setup for kinetics studies of protein crystal nucleation. This approach ensures that homogenous and heterogeneous nucleation can be distinguished and permits determinations of the rates of homogenous nucleation.

Liquid-liquid phase transition in confined water: a Monte Carlo study
Article Abstract:
The Monte Carlo method has been used to analyze strongly confined supercooled ST2 water. The anisotropy of the confined system was found to play a significant role in determining the phase behaviour.
