Structural analysis of silica-supported tugnstates
Article Abstract:
A study was conducted to analyze the structure, surface acidity and reducibility of WO3/SiO2 systems. The samples were made by preparing impregnation of silica from Degussa with aqueous solutions of ammonium paratungstate. The Micromeritics TPR/TPD 2900 instrument was utilized to carry out temperature-programmed reduction analysis. Experimental results indicated that tungsten concentration and calcination temperature alter the nature of the physicochemical properties of the systems.

Laser-induced decomposition of TNAZ
Article Abstract:
A study was conducted to analyze the initial decomposition products of 1,3,3-trinitroazetidine by time-of-flight mass spectrometry. The samples were irradiated with 248 nm pulses from an excimer laser to start decomposition. Experimental results indicated the occurrence of nitro-nitrite rearrangement on the nitramine group. Findings also showed that NO2 is lost from both the nitroalkyl and nitramine groups.
