Role of the surface in luminescent processes
Article Abstract:
The importance of surfaces to luminescence in the field of semiconductor is discussed. Models similar to the electron-stimulated surface chemical reaction (ESSCR) model are developed for surface recombination effects on luminescence, based upon recombination effects in semiconductors.
