Selective catalytic reduction of No(x) with N-free reductants
Article Abstract:
Analysis of the selective catalytic reduction (SCR) of NO(x) with N-free reductants using Cu-ZSM-5 zeolite catalyst indicates that rate of reduction is the highest between 450 and 500 degree Celsius. Various parameters influence the temperature of highest nitric oxide conversion. Various surface characterization techniques help characterize zeolite SCR catalysts. Mechanistic study suggests the involvement of more than one reaction route in the SCR on Cu-ZSM-5.

Design of sustainable chemical products - The example of ionic liquids
Article Abstract:
The concept of ecotoxicological risk profiles assess the substances according to the risk indicators which helps in designing the sustainable chemical products. It should be noted that the type of risk analysis carried out in this study will be most efficient when embedded in a sustainable product design or even a life-cycle design process.
