Cisco program aims to ease enterprise management

Cisco Systems Inc' CiscoWorks2000 initiative aims to make its networking products easier to integrate with major enterprise management applications. The CiscoWorks2000 includes a two-product suite that allows users to form a 'management intranet' using Cisco and third-party management tools. It allows data to be exchanged between Cisco devices with various Common Interface Model-compliant tools. Also included in CiscoWorks2000 are the Resource Manager Essentials and CWSI Campus.

Navara mobilizes business software

Mobile software firm Navara of Atlanta, GA, has announced that it will expand the business applications for its Circadia software product. The software allows users to designate certain screens and fields for a from a business application and turn then into an interface for a Windows CE-based mobile computing device. The company has already developed template for the integration of Circadian with Remedy's ARS software and with other software products.
