OMNIS Software finding spiritual renaissance in a Harley

Article Abstract:

Officials at OMNIS Software intend to leverage the credibility associated with the company's former name, Blythe Software, and its installed base of dedicated users while simultaneously creating a new image for itself. OMNIS executives claim that the newly revitalized company will avoid the mistakes made under Blythe's former management team, such as insufficient marketing plans and a poor pricing model. The new OMNIS will work to enhance its ability to push products through the reseller channel, and the company intends to work diligently to establish strong relationships with key VARs. OMNIS is targeting computer trade shows as a primary forum for enhancing VAR relationships and generating leads, linking its image to the popularity of Harley Davidson motorcycles.
