Manufactured homes lead recovery of housing industry
Article Abstract:
The manufactured homes industry led the economic recovery of the housing industry in 1992 and is expected to continue its upward trend in 1993. Rising costs of other types of housing, better products and marketing, improved sites and more available financing have made manufactured homes a more viable alternative. Manufacturers are optimistic of the industry's prospects for growth in 1993. With the increasing support of financial lenders and the new administration's positive attitudes towards the industry, manufacturers may look forward to a better year.
