Big bucks insurance - You bet!
Article Abstract:
Direct sellers of insurance are projected to generate revenues of more than $100 billion at the beginning of 2000, up from $35.1 billion at the beginning of 1990. For the immediate future, the Direct Marketing Assn's WEFA study estimates the industry to grow annually at 9% to 10%. The robust state of the sector is attributed to more consumers demanding for more avenues by which they can buy their insurance. Also, direct marketing of insurance appeals to a new batch of industry executives who want specific metrics that measure every variable and cost accurately.
