Kaplan exiting list business - sources

Unidentified sources during the week of Aug 21, 2000, reported that Stamford, CT-based mailing list services provider Kaplan Agency Inc plans to permanently leave the list brokerage and management market after 24 years in the business. These same sources said that the company began the process in May 2000. The agency reportedly expects to shut down completely by Dec 31, 2000, although calls by DM News publication to Kaplan to confirm the rumors were not returned.

Latin economies offer mixed bag
