Cowboys: what you think
Article Abstract:
The UK construction industry needs to address its public image, according to researchers from the University of Glamorgan. The researchers found a high level of public dissatisfaction with the building industry relating to issues including price, quality and delivery times, as well as the workmanship and operating methods of an unregulated cowboy sector. Means of addressing the situation suggested by the researchers included statutory registration of construction firms, and the formation of a body to address the industry's image problems.
