Brazil tough nut
Article Abstract:
British construction firms believe that Brazil is a hard nut to crack due to local ambivalence about foreign investment. However its economy is the ninth-largest in the world with a GDP of $580 billion in 1994. The construction sector is expected to grow by 60% between 1996 and 2000, and even competent Brazilian contractors will find it difficult to cope.
