AWA will oppose parks ban on PWC
Article Abstract:
The American Watercraft Assn (AWA) plans to contest a proposed settlement between the National Park Service (NPS) and the Bluewater Network that would ban personal watercraft use from all waterways managed by the NPS. AWA, which claims it represents around 1.2 million personal watercraft owners, alleged that the NPS and Bluewater Network, an environmental group based in San Francisco, CA, are attempting 'an end-around to avoid the rule-making process.'
