Article Abstract:
The Building Down Barriers project, which was launched by the Ministry of Defence, Defence Estates, and the DETR, integrates the supply chain into the construction process. Two pilot projects have been launched in Aldershot and Wattisham, in which the prime contractor has integrated the supply chain into the building design, construction and maintenance. The projects are for sports centres with swimming pools.
