The 45m pounds sterling bill that the industry pays for again and again
Article Abstract:
There is a clear need for housebuilders in the UK to improve standards of customer service. It is becoming increasingly widely recognized that housebuilders are falling behind while customer service standards improve in other sectors. It is now time for housebuilders to stop making excuses for poor workmanship, such as adverse weather conditions, and they must also make more effort to communicate clearly with customers. Housebuilders must realize that they could save a great deal of time and money if they simply did their best to get everything right the first time, rather than having to fix problems at a later date.

A customer's for life, not just for Christmas
Article Abstract:
It is important that marketing work by UK housebuilders includes a continuous customer satisfaction monitor. This is because customers who have high satisfaction levels are much more likely to recommend a housebuilder to others than those whose satisfaction levels are not particularly high. The information obtained through continuous customer satisfaction monitoring also plays a vital role in allowing housebuilders to identify areas where improvements are required.
