BTB hub opens in Latin American markets

Business-to-business (BTB) digital trading hub Asista.com has started operations in Brazil, where it plans to invest $30 million within the next two years. Asista spokeswoman Daniela Garza said the company found Brazil more receptive to BTB commerce than Argentina and Mexico, countries where Asista had also launched online portals. Garza added that the Brazilian market for indirect goods and services was worth $80 billion and may reach $340 billion for the whole Latin American region.
