WorldLink forms group to lure DRTV dollars to startup networks
Article Abstract:
WorldLink, a Los Angeles, CA-based direct radio and television (DRTV) media representative company, has established a new in-house group that support start-up broadcast, low-power and cable network clients. New networks are reportedly putting most of their efforts into improving their programming and distribution, while sales efforts take longer to build. Thus, WorldLink wants to create a turnkey sales operations for networks that may not have the manpower needed to sell DRTV time, a process that is more often labor-intensive and higher-maintenance than general sales.
