Uneasy days of Guns N' Roses; morale is flagging at the Belgrade sit-in
Article Abstract:
Students occupying Belgrade University have called for Slobodan Milosevic, the Serbian leader to resign. They see the division of Yugoslavia as a risk to their future. 50 of the faculty of 5,000 are actually involved in the protest, although most have said they support the occupation. Many are concerned about army call-up, although the new state of Serbia and Montenegro has ceased defending Serbs in all parts of the former Yugoslavia.
