Article Abstract:
Planning often recent objections to developments on grounds based on prejudice, particularly in the case of social housing. A recent significant High Court precedent has been seen as a test case and could lead to planning applications being decided on grounds of predjudice. Article Abstract:

Keith Vaz, Labour's planning spokesman, has indicated that authorities will not bid against each other for funds, but against criteria. It is felt that Labour's plans are not based on firm judgement, rather by public perception.
