Fisher report to shake up the Association
Article Abstract:
A total reform of the Electrical Contractors Association (ECA) council membership, association status and accreditation methods have been proposed by consultant researcher Fisher Associates. The proposal report is part of an up-dating strategy by the ECA to ensure its survival after the year 2000. Improved communication techniques is one of the main suggestions of the report, highlighting the need for clear and concise literature when dealing with electricians. A recommended 3 million pounds sterling improvement policy to ECA buildings should improve public image and create a better environment for business.

The forecast for the industry's '84 models are for new products in the smaller cars, and sportier and larger alternatives to the Japanese imports.
