How to distinguish the masters from the hacks
Article Abstract:
Executives must exercise care in choosing a management consultant, who will be in large part responsible for an organization's future. Education, price and the consultant's own measurement of successful performance are poor selection criteria. A simplified but difficult process of choosing a consultant consists of evaluating certain attributes of each prospect. Master consultants communicate their general philosophy clearly, are always seeking new knowledge, promise the right question rather than answers, stress learning principles rather than specific solutions, make clients think, and leave behind a promising future.

Does your company invest your time wisely?
Article Abstract:
Proper alignment of the structure and processes supporting the business strategies of the company is the sign of a successful organization. It determines the way in which an employee invests his time. The non-alignment of structure and processes leads to silos. Silos prevent the solving of problems at the lowest levels. Meetings may be an expensive time drain, when not dealing with important company activities. The use of teams can only be effective if they are mediating some important function that makes the processes of the company work.
