Reengineering for human resource management in Japanese companies: is it important to be introduced?
Article Abstract:
Japanese companies can choose to introduce reengineering for human resource management, given the similarity of the principles of reengineering to Japanese management practices. Some links are evident between the reengineering concept and Japanese management, such as job integration, decision making and an emphasis on education, among others. The new trend of Japanese management is imbuing a Western style to the Japanese style, while reengineering is incorporating a Japanese flavor into the western style.
