Helping those who help others
Article Abstract:
Managing non-profit organizations (NPO) is essentially the same as managing a business enterprise. Both revolve around service and as such have a business system which requires vision, a budget, customer base, objectives, a defined structure within which to operate, education and training of staff. NPOs have to realize that an economic vision is just as important as a moral vision if the NPO is to function effectively.
