Community engagement challenge
Article Abstract:
Imigrants, substance misuser, people with language difficulties and radcal youths are among the harder to reach sectors in terms of promoting fire prevention. The Fire and Rescue Service needs to engage and educate these growing sectors with regards to fire prevention measures. The reasons for exclusion from the society and the impacts of the limited engagement are discussed.

Article Abstract:
The West Midlands Fire and Rescue Service will be testing a new system to handle its New Dimension fleet. There are plans to extend this robust, simple, and cost effective system to the national level.
