Gaining insights into containerized composting
Article Abstract:
In-vessel composting offers composters with improved process control, reduced labor cost and fewer equipment necessities. Currently, US has 50 in-vessel composting programs and Canada has 25. These facilities enable operators to adapt the composting method to the kind of materials which they receive. However, users of containerized composting system are also faced with issues such as compatible bulking agents, odor control and utility cost.
