Low-noise pumps
Article Abstract:
Godwin Pumps of America Inc has introduced the Quiet-Pac Dri-Prime pumps which generate low noise during pumping operations. It is capable of flow rates from 500 to 5,500 gpm with sound levels from 65 dBA to 70 dBA at 30 ft. The pumps also feature hinged, lockable doors on their enclosures which ensure access to the operating controls and service locations. The pumps can used in municipal sewer bypass, municipal sewer pumping stations and potable water booster pumping operations.
