Article Abstract:
The forecasts made by the US Conference Board, Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development, the Survey of Professional Forecasters and the Congressional Budget Office would help the professionals in their decision-making for 2003. The forecasts predict that there would be a moderate but slow job growth in the second half of 2003, and inflation would be under control, however, deficit would turn into a fiscal burden.

The National Association of Hispanic Federal Executives (NAHFE) proposes a significant increase in the number of Hispanics at the senior executive and management levels so that Hispanics achieve parity at the decision-making tables in the federal work force. Diversity and advocacy groups see this as an opportunity to increase the number of Hispanic employees in the federal work place.
