The success of many fast-growing Hispanic firms is being driven by booming markets in technology services and construction. Almost half of the companies on the 1999 Hispanic Business 100 Fastest-Growing Companies directory are service sector companies. Government contracts account for much of the construction firm projects. Macro-economic conditions contribute significantly to increased growth of the companies on the list.
