Male premarital aggression and gender identity among black and white newlywed couples
Article Abstract:
Astudy by the Research Institute on Addictions, covering 123 black and 412 white couples at the time they applied for marriage licenses, explored the relationship between spouse gender identity and male premarital aggression. The femininity of white husbands tempered aggression, and the black wives high in femininity experienced the lower levels of premarital aggression.
