Enrichment and stress in families caring for a child with a serious emotional disorder
Article Abstract:
A study using the Effects of the Situation Questionnaire was conducted to examine enrichment and stress in families who are caring for children with severe emotional disorders. Results show that stress levels are relatively higher than enrichment levels. It was also observed that the level of stress is determined by the seriousness of the child's disorder, empowerment and coordination among service providers.
