Computers in the elementary classroom are more than just toys. Skills in handling electronic tools are learned, also social skills such as sharing and teamwork are reenforced. But technology even when carefully planned and integrated will probably never take the place of traditional teaching.

Home-sharing can be a satisfying alternative for single parents who want to ease the financial burden of maintaining a house. It is important, however, to find a housemate whom one agrees with on issues such as parenting style, household responsibilities and financial matters.
