Consumers will pay premium for great reputation, say CBI
Article Abstract:
A recent survey by Confederation of British Industry indicate that more than half of consumers will pay a premium to the company they perceive has the best reputation, even if they can avail of cheaper products and services elsewhere. Out of the 58% of consumers willing to pay extra to their most highly regarded company, 43% would pay up to 5% more over a cheaper price, and 29% are willing to pay 6% to 10% more, while 16% would pay more than a 10% premium.
