Fast food growth in Spain driven by national tastes, but multinationals remain strong
Article Abstract:
Spanish-style restaurants are responsible for continuing growth in the Spanish fast food sector. Telepizza ranks second in the sector, after McDonalds; while Bocatta, Pans & Co, Gofy, and Pizza World all rank within the top 10 fast food chains. Industry growth is expected to slow, unless new styles are introduced. Pizza Hut and KFC have both suffered losses recently, although they still rank among the top ten.
