Highlights from Maison Joseph Drouhin
Article Abstract:
A tasting of 10 wines from Maison Joseph Drouhin, which included six vintages of the premier cru red Clos des Mouches and four vintages of the winery's flagship white, Montrachet Marquis de Laguiche, was organized by Robert Drouhin who also discussed his career and the history of his family's respected winery. He explained that one tastes the variety and the fruit in the young wines, which show more of the 'terroir' when they age, as is observed from how the wine ages from Chardonnay to Montrachet.
