Henry Heimlich told the AMA journal to call his life-saving process a maneuver after they explained what method meant. The term Black is preferred by 44% of polled African Americans. Latinas resent the male term Latino as the term meaning all Spanish-speakers no matter the gender.

Project Icarus revisited
Article Abstract:
The Massachusetts Institute of Technology designed a plan to save Earth from a collision with an asteroid. Project Icarus was a 1968 academic project which would have used six 100-megaton thermonuclear warheads to deflect or destroy the incoming asteroid.

The legacy of Richard Graff
Article Abstract:
Pioneer winemaker Richard Graff died in an airplane crash on Jan 9, 1998. Graff founded Chalone Vineyard in the 1960s and was instrumental in educating the California wine industry. Graff's career and influence are discussed.
